Pantheon is a responsible operator with the highest degree of commitment to environmental sustainability.

As such, our environmental policy is defined by the following key points:

  • Treating environmental sustainability as equally important to operational results when evaluating managerial performance;
  • Operating and maintaining facilities and equipment in an environmentally responsible and safe manner;
  • Ensure satisfactory contingency measures are in place in the event of any oil and gas losses during oil extraction, preparation and transportation;
  • Reducing waste material by implementing the most effective environmental waste disposal practices;
  • Establish and implement an effective system of environmental monitoring within Pantheon’s operational structure; 
  • Establish and implement an effective orientation program for Pantheon staff, contractor and subcontractor personnel to be given prior to each major operation that will:
    • inform each individual of the environmental, social and cultural concerns that relate to their job functions;
    • include permit stipulations and requirements, cultural awareness, spill prevention and reporting, wildlife interaction, site specific safety, etc. 
    • include a specific training program for bear safety and a briefing of the Bear Avoidance, Interaction, Mitigation, and Monitoring Plan.
